A Message from Our Director

Welcome to Spotless Mind Mental Health Counseling!

I am so glad you are here.  Taking care of your mental health is one of your most important responsibilities!  The state of your mental heath not only influences how you think and feel within yourself, but how you perceive, judge or behave in various situations and interactions with others.
I know how much clients are struggling when they make the decision to begin therapy and how many times they've likely been turned away or have gotten no response at all.  I am dedicated to leaving no person, couple, or family without access to the mental health care that they need.

As the Director and founder of SMMHC, I am amazed everyday (but not surprised) by our compassionate and skills counselors and the work they do with their clients!  I hope you find the support you are needing here.

Peace and tranquility,

Jenna Vogler M.A., LMHC

Are you feeling hopeless, numb, or overwhelmed by the challenges of life? Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, obsessive thoughts, or to feel comfortable in your own skin.

It is important to let you know that you do not have to experience your current struggles alone and that there is hope in reaching a healthier place. I believe that everyone has the power to work towards change and growth. As your therapist, I am someone who will sit in the passenger seat offering you support, encouragement, and guidance as you drive towards your destination. I offer a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to improve your quality of life.

Through our work together, you will find meaning in your life, brighter days, and a mind that is free from negative thoughts. You will have a toolbox filled with healthy coping skills and the challenges that were preventing you from finding peace will be resolved. Scheduling an appointment is the first step towards self-improvement.

Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges? Are you stuck in self-defeating behavior patterns that you want to change? The good news is, if you are reading this, you have already taken the first step. Seeking help can seem intimidating; sometimes we are afraid to admit we might need it. The reality is: we all need help sometimes.  I am dedicated to helping those who are brave enough to take that first step.

I provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to share your problems, troubles, and concerns. I can help you navigate life’s challenges in new ways, analyze the behaviors that you want to change, and implement plans to change them.
I use a variety of evidence-based treatments to help you contextualize and confront your issues.

Change is difficult, but I am here to help you make the changes you need, to live the life you want. No one has to embark on the self-improvement journey by themselves; I would be honored if you will allow me to take this journey with you.

If you are ready to take the next step, I am at your service, and eager to accompany you through the tough times and help you find that sense of satisfaction with life that you want and truly deserve.

Daniel DuQuen M.A., LMHC

Clinical Supervisor

I’m passionate about helping those who are looking to better manage feelings of anxiety, panic, and depression by identifying and addressing negative patterns of thought and behavior.

I use an eclectic approach to counseling to explore and implement the most effective treatment on an individual basis. My work focuses on using evidence-based treatment interventions and integrating techniques and skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and other therapeutic frameworks.

As someone who personally experiences and understands mental health issues, I believe in the power of talk therapy and how it can help people relieve emotional and physical distress and create a stronger sense of self.

        Janlyn Taglianetti M.S., MHC-LP

Sometimes you may feel stuck, need a little help sorting out your thoughts, or have trouble understanding your emotions, but the good news is you do not have to do it alone.

Mental health affects every part of your life, and I am here to provide a safe, empathetic, and judgement-free space to explore and express what you are experiencing.

It is important to talk about your feelings and experiences, and by examining them together we can address any concerns regarding anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, and compulsions or intrusive thoughts. We can then work on building coping skills to help you deal with life’s stressors along the way.

I collaboratively work with individuals to improve their mental health by utilizing an integrated and evidence-based treatment approach. Psychodynamic talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychoeducation are just a few of the treatment approaches that I incorporate into my practice, as I believe therapy is not “one size fits all” and should be individualized just for you.

I look forward to helping guide you along your journey to a happier and healthier mental well-being.

   Samantha Fontana M.S., MHC-LP

Welcome!  I’m so glad you are here, as it takes courage to seek out therapy.  My goal working with clients is to build a trusting and safe partnership — one where we explore the best path forward together.  Taking that leap to seek help is a brave step and one for which I have tremendous respect.  I hope to provide an inviting, empathic, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore the depth of your inner truth and to help you actualize the life you envision for yourself.  Together, we will explore past experiences, including family dynamics and your early life, in addition to thoughts, feelings, and current patterns of behavior to provide insight into how you can better cope with issues impacting you most now.  I have found that, oftentimes, we are more resilient than we believe we are.  My job is to support you as you harness that strength and find hope again.

I am a warm and down-to-earth clinician who prides herself on being authentic in my relationships with clients.  I have over ten years experience as a school psychologist in the earlier part of my career and more recently have supported clients in a community mental health setting before entering into private practice in 2022.  My style of therapy is honest, collaborative, thoughtful, and built on the strong therapeutic relationship that I develop with clients.  I also bring a passion for positive psychology to foster positive emotions, relationships, meaning, and purpose into your day to day life.  Our work together would incorporate various aspects of different techniques, including but not limited to psychodynamic, narrative, strength-based, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness therapies to meet you where you are.

I look forward to meeting you and walking beside you on this part of your journey!

Emily Imondi M.S.E.d., M.S. MHC-LP

I want to commend you for taking the first step of looking for counseling services. Reaching out for help is not an easy task, it takes a lot of self-awareness and courage. Coming to therapy can be nerve-racking, so it is my goal to create a space for you to feel safe, where you can be brave to be your authentic self. Life is tough, you are tougher, and together we can practice ways to overcome a variety of life's difficult challenges. Our sessions together will be tailored specifically to you, your needs, and your goals. While people can experience similar life challenges, therapy is not a one-size-fits all solution.

You deserve your own recipe of coping skills and resources to improve your mental health. I use an eclectic therapeutic approach where I often utilize and adapt various evidence-based interventions from CBT, DBT, and ACT to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be. I also have experience conducting exposure therapy as well as EMDR interventions.

One of my favorite quotes is, “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be,” from Ralph Waldo Emerson. You have greatness within and I would be honored to help you find it.

        Jennifer Gattuso M.S., MHC-LP

Do you want to make changes in your life to start living a happier, healthier and more positive
life? If the answer to that question is yes, I am happy to tell you I am here to help!

Throughout my own mental health journey, I was able to reach out to a counselor and learn ways to cope and deal with the emotions and anxiety I was struggling with.  This helped me live a happier and more positive life, as well as perform better in athletics (one of the things that brought me into counseling). I love to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology techniques mixed with evidenced-based interventions from various other treatment modalities.  My goal is teach you a variety of helpful tools and skills specific to the issues you are facing.

In the athletic world, Mental Health is often stigmatized.  However, professional athletes like tennis player Naomi Osaka and swimmer Michael Phelps, have helped shine a light on mental health.  These role models have allowed many athletes to acknowledge and address their mental health issues.  These struggles for athletes go all the way down to school and community sports starting at a young age and could create stress, low self-esteem and depression.

Whatever you are going through, I provide a warm, welcoming and non judgmental environment.  I want you to know that your feelings are valid and you are safe with me! I hope to meet you and help you accomplish your goals!

          Tara Hernandez M.S. MHC-LP

Mental health is just as important as our physical health. I believe with the right attention to mental health and self-awareness, we are unstoppable. Exploring your emotions is often a difficult task, so I hope that you are proud of yourself for taking this step. I am happy to listen to every word, story, and emotion without judgement.

Everyone has a life story and I plan to create a warm and welcoming environment so that you feel comfortable enough to share yours. Together we will embrace the tears, the frustration, the laughter, and the hope that comes with the therapeutic journey. There is undeniable strength and resiliency in each of us, so my goal with you in therapy is to help you feel empowered and capable for change.

Therapy is for everyone, but not everyone is for the same therapy. Each session is tailored to your goals and your style. Within each session, we will uncover the root of your struggles and untangle the uncertainty that comes with life’s difficulties. You are not in this alone. I will do my best to provide a safe space for you to share snapshots of your life with me, and together we can create a wholesome and fulfilling perspective on your past and present in order to build your best future.

                          Gabby Saitta MHC-I

Vulnerability is not always easy and so please know I will always be patient with you. Let’s work together and start your journey of self healing!

In my practice, I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-education, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy & my personal favorite, Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Creating a safe, collaborative environment is at the core of my therapeutic approach. I'm committed to guiding you on your journey towards greater mental well-being, ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

The body and mind are resilient entities.  However, they may often need emotional,
physical, or spiritual attention. Above all, we always need a tender ear to listen.  Everyone has a story to tell. My primary focus is to cultivate a safe and warm environment where I can help you find your voice. Together, we can tackle the past,
present, and future. The order doesn’t matter. What is most important is the fact that you have taken the courageous first step toward self-improvement.

It’s often said that growth and comfort don’t share the same room. Well, lucky for you, you don’t have to be in that room alone. Every ounce of anxiety, stress, depression, or
any hindrance that stands in your way, we will tackle together. I can help you navigate the complexities of life in different ways, assess if there are any changes that may need to be made, as well as incorporate new methods to grow in a healthy and positive way.  Try to remember, you are allowed to be different than who you once were.

Through this collaborative effort, we will hone in on what you specifically need. No two
people are alike. Therefore, you can count on your mental health journey truly being a unique experience. Every aspect is tailored to your personal needs and goals.

I hope to be a part of the next chapter you choose to write in your story.
